Five staff members of Seacoast United Soccer Club are attending the US Soccer Foundation’s Urban Symposium in Washington, DC, taking place from Monday, April 16th through Thursday, April 19th. Issues being discussed at the event range from fighting childhood obesity, after school programs, overall wellness, and ways to provide more education and opportunities to youth players. The program concludes with a day on Capitol Hill where Seacoast staff will meet with state officials from New Hampshire and Maine.

Seacoast United is a 2005 Grant Recipient of the Foundation as part of the Epping Field Project at the Club’s Outdoor Complex. Since that date, Seacoast United has supported the US Soccer Foundation through its Passback program, made donations, and the Club’s home and away jerseys all proudly display the Foundations logo. The US Soccer Foundation is also listed as a partner on Seacoast United’s website. 
The Seacoast United Foundation hosted the annual Bob Masi Memorial Golf Tournament at the Ledges Golf Club in York, ME, to benefit the soccer scholarship program in his name.
On Friday, April 27th, Dr. Auma Obama visited Seacoast United’s Indoor Arena to discuss the growing relationship between the Club and her foundation Sauti Kuu, meaning "Powerful Voices". Read the full article from Seacoast Online 
The Nate Hardy International Scholarship was created to promote and support opportunities for players to experience soccer abroad. Applications and requirements for the Nate Hardy International Scholarship are now available on the Seacoast United Foundation website
