The Financial Aid Scholarship was created to help support families in need of financial assistance with tuition fees. The original scholarship was created in the name of Bob Masi, a father of three former Seacoast United players who lost his battle with cancer several years ago. His sons Joe, Michael, and Eric all went on to captain their collegiate teams at Stonehill College, Bates College and the University of New Hampshire respectively. This scholarship will help support eligible families with partial payment of their travel club registration fees, applied to final payments. Families receiving these awards must remain up to date with their fees prior to the final payment.
In this tradition, the United Sports Foundation can now offer financial aid to athletes participating in any sport.
Eligible applicants would be youth athletes competing at U19 or younger, registered to play for Seacoast United Sports Club, or a Recreation/Town/Travel Club team located in New Hampshire. Financial Aid Scholarships are competitive, need-based scholarships meant to relieve some of the financial burden on families in order to support athletes in their physical, social, and community development.
In order to be considered, applicants must submit the following forms:
- Completed 2018/19 Financial Aid Application form. Subitted copy must include an actual signature from applicant and parent/guardian.
